The Farcheville Castle is a privately owned castle in the Essonne (Ile de France, France). The castle was built between 1290 and 1304 to Hugues II de Bouville and other construction periods have occurred in the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth century. The shooting, which lasted nearly two days, allowed me to discover this castle of which the number of rooms is impressive, sometimes to the point of not knowing which direction to take to reach the next place to photograph. It is about 13 km I walked inside the castle on these two days. Fortunately, a few secret passages allowed me to join quickly some rooms to others. Another outstanding fact is that all the rooms are furnished and decorated in a style corresponding to a period in the history of the castle. Chateau de Farcheville can be rented for weddings and corporate retreats.
